Our stock dogs have come from a long line of dogs bred on our ranch from the time Myron Childs ran sheep. Myron brought some Border Collies from New Zealand to work his sheep. We used these lines on our cattle as well and started crossing them on Australian Shepherds. We have outcrossed from neighboring ranches and other stock dogs over the years. This cross has proven to us to be very intelligent, friendly, and with natural herding instinct. They connect well with their owners and are very eager to please. They have sold all over the western U.S. to ranches and families. They make great stock dogs, companions, trail riding and hiking partners, and have gone into search and rescue training.
We currently have 2 male pups left from this litter by Sue and out of Josey. These are very smart pups. This is the first litter by Sue, a new stud dog we are crossing out on. We are getting great reports from their litter mate's owners.
